DESCRIPTION

When you think of the perfect mountain bike, what's in your mind? To us the brand new Spark 950. Why? Well, besides the fact that it is fast, light and capable on any type of soil, it is also damn beautiful to see. Trail bikes with low hike? Half the country? Occasional race bikes? Call her whatever you want. All we know is that this is really an exceptional mountain bike.

TECHNOLOGIES

ADJUSTABLE HEAD ANGLE
With the new Spark, you can adjust the head angle of 0.6 degrees more or less. This can be done without cutting the cables or draining the brakes. All you have to do is disassemble the handlebar, rotate the cups of the steering series of 180 degrees and then reassemble it.

EASY SHOCK ACCESS
Access to the shock absorber through the central movement area is facilitated by a hatch. This facilitates adjustment of extension, compression, shock pressure and installation or replacement of the TwinLoc Suspension System cable.

PATENTED INTEGRATED SUSPENSION SYSTEM
An integrated shock absorber platform allows SCOTT to improve suspension characteristics without sacrificing weight.
For optimum performance of a shock absorber, the power transfer must be as direct as possible. What we wanted to avoid is the inefficient directional movements, in other words, the lateral movements (on the side of the direction of march) while the shock absorber passes through its compression.
Having an integrated shock absorber allows you to improve this aspect in different ways. First, the frame structure around the shock absorber and with joint support can be designed to be much more rigid, reducing movement and favoring more efficient power transfer. You can also add much larger bearings to the saddle tube pin, further strengthening this area and reducing any unnecessary movement. The integrated Suspension technology also allows you to design frames with lower shock absorbers positioning, which lowers the center of gravity. As a result, the bike benefits from better handling and a more stable and safer guide for the end user.
Although these may seem to be minor improvements if taken into account individually, the sum of their parts results in much more efficient shock absorber performance. In addition, the shock absorber is completely protected from any foreign element. Rain race? No problem, your shock absorber will continue to work best regardless.

THE VEHICLE SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
A complete suspension bike will never succeed without a good suspension design. SCOTT firmly believes that for cross-country technical competitions and fast and incisive singletracks this is the best approach. The layout of Spark's suspension has a very specific and tested cinematics and less unsuspended mass. The use of a flexible pin in the sheath is an ideal solution for bikes of this range. This allows you to maintain a very light system while ensuring optimal suspension performance.

REAR AXLE TOOL
The SCOTT tool for the rear axle has been a firm point on its bikes for years, and today is still the best solution. It is equipped with a T25, T30 and 6 all in one. With these three options you can adjust all the pin hardware and almost everything there is to adjust on the bicycle.
