Switch Infinity's short-travel specific design, rotated 90 degrees and optimized for less weight and efficiency.

The YETI SB115 is an anti-squat curve bike that is relatively flat and high at the beginning and in the middle section of the travel, i.e., the pedaling zone. This creates an efficient pedaling platform along the entire pedaling zone. There is a point at which the Switch Infinity link moves downward, dramatically dropping the anti-squat. Cyclists typically do not pedal in this area, so chain forces have less effect on suspension performance. Decoupling the chain forces allows the suspension to work more efficiently to absorb impacts making the feel of a Yeti distinct.

Unlike other "short-travel" trail bikes, the SB115's suspension also performs at its best when set at similar settings to much longer bikes.
This allows the SB115 to offer riders room to be comfortable on long race days. Its frame, with appropriate reach, keeps riders nimble and comfortable and ready to react to various race tactics and tight courses. Its low BB makes it possible to maintain that feeling of pure pleasure even during climbs, and it entices riders to push harder and harder downhill with confidence. The rear suspension surpasses the forks on other bikes in length and is a perfect match for the SB115's more forward-oriented geometry.
