The full carbon rims guarantee lightning-fast acceleration and help you overcome technical climbs, with just the right amount of vertical flexibility to enable you to tackle every transition with precision and control. The carbon outer layer features our new UD² design, which gives it a distinctive visual identity and increases its durability.
The inner width (25 mm) allows all modern cross-country tyres to be fitted.
The spoking consists of 24 straight and narrow spokes for a perfect balance between lateral rigidity and vertical flexibility.
Mavic has designed an even lighter Infinity hub. In combination with the stiffness of the wheel and the specially chosen spoking, it maximises pedalling power for optimal power transfer.
Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel system, with its double ratchet mechanism, guarantees quick engagement. Sprint and accelerate more efficiently coming out of corners!
The rear hub is compatible with HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD freewheel bodies.
The Crossmax SL R is only available in 29" format and compatible with standard Boost axles (front 15x110 rear 12x148). The wheel comes complete with valves, spare spokes and accessories.

QRM Auto bearing adjustment technology
Quality Mavic Auto bearings. These cartridge bearings are naturally double sealed, with C3 internal clearance. The system automatically adjusts to ensure perfect rotation without play in the long term.

The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is ultra-light and efficient. A non-contacting, oversized rubber seal minimises friction and a wide choice of adapters makes it compatible with a wide range of frames and axles.
