This geometry has been carefully designed by product developers Ridley with particular attention to speed, stability and responsiveness. The length of the steering tube is lower than that of Noah Fast and Helium SLX, to offer a more aggressive driving position. The central movement is positioned lower because it has been adapted to the possibility of pedaling with thicker tyres, so that the cyclist maintains a great control.
The points of difference are the round braid of Falcn Essential (against the D seat of Falcn RS) and carbon composition. However, the frame of the Falcn Essential weighs only 990 grams.
Aero-To-Weight
The attention of the street bike market was in the past focused on stiffness compared to weight, but recently moved on the balance between aerodynamics and weight. Ridley decided to combine the best of the two worlds with Falcn, making it as much as possible aerodynamics without sacrificing the weight of the bicycle. Falcn has aerodynamic performance similar to Noah Fast and weighs only 990 g (in Medium size), which means that cyclists no longer have to choose between lightness and aerodynamics.

Optimised tyre space
Over the years, cyclists have seen a growing trend in using larger tyres on road bikes. The Falcn is developed around 28 mm tyres and has a maximum space between 34 mm tyres, offering a larger tyre space than the maximum 28 mm standard found on most current road bikes. This allows for greater comfort and lower rolling resistance, as larger tyres can be used at lower pressures.

Removable front derailleur clamp
Our innovative removable front derailleur strap ensures a clean and aerodynamic look when using a 1x setup. In collaboration with Wolf Tooth, we developed a tailor-made chainguide and chain catcher, perfectly compatible with our frames. To maintain an orderly and refined look, we also designed a specific cover to replace the strap when not in use.

The universal derailleur gearbox (UDH) is the new standard in cycling. Not only is this derailleur compatible with all modern exchange groups, it also protects against the break of the derailleur and the fall of the chain. Diffuser integrated into the fork crown
The crown of the fork is equipped with an integrated diffuser to reduce aerodynamic resistance. The air flow passes more easily through the crown of the fork, while additional energy is added. The result is that the air flow passes more easily through the oblique tube without pushing the bicycle backwards. At the same time, aerodynamic resistance in the area behind the fork and steering tube is less.
