Troy Brosnan wanted a unicorn of a tire with a center tread design that could easily handle high speeds and sidewall plugs that could handle world-class cornering speeds.Using our Rekon, Minon DHF and High Roller II tread designs as a starting point, Troy and our engineering team began development on the Dissector during the 2018 World Cup season. All center plugs have a strong ramp to minimize drag, but maintain flat, sharp edges throughout the height to provide strong braking traction.Small grooves give the plugs additional flex, increasing their surface area under braking and aiding the cornering transition to the sidewall plugs.The C-shaped sidewall plugs are alternately positioned toward the centerline and outward.This tread design reduces uncertainty in the cornering transition from the center to the shoulders.A distinct channel along both sides of the center plugs along with wide spacing between all plugs helps clear debris.▲ Rear use;▲ Ideal for dry conditions, fast trails and bike parks;▲ Wide Trail (WT) casing optimized for rims with 30-35mm internal width;
