The UMA GT Ultraz Winter Jacket EVO is our warmest and most insulating running jacket to date.
It is made from a blend of NEOS softshell and RX insulation fabrics to keep you warm, dry and as protected as possible from the most extreme weather conditions.
The strategic application of the three NEOS softshell fabrics of different weights to the Ultraz garments allows us to provide you with the right protection where you need it most, while at the same time ensuring total breathability and lightness. The selection of these materials was inspired by the position on the bike and the racing conditions for which this jacket was designed, in the knowledge that racing in the middle of winter requires absolute attention to detail in terms of fit and functionality of the garment.
FEATURED FABRICS
The front panel and upper back panel feature a twinDeck double-layer structure, created by combining NEOS Light and RX Heavy fabrics, with a windproof and breathable triple-layer softshell and taped polyurethane membrane for additional water repellence. For maximum protection, the sleeves also feature the twinDeck structure made from NEOS Ultra and 652.RX. The back panel features NEOS Medium, a windproof and breathable triple-layer softshell fabric with a taped polyurethane membrane.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
The jacket features the classic regularFit fit, which, while being close-fitting, offers a more relaxed cut that lends itself to the addition of more layers. The front and back panels are joined to the raglan-cut sleeves with a seam that continues down to the neck, giving you maximum freedom of movement when you ride. 2W waistWave, the seam system on the waist, maintains the natural elasticity of the front panel fabric without any stretch material.
ENGINEERING
Triple Ramp Pockets: Flexible fabric panels sewn into the inside of each of the three pockets create flaps that wrap around the contents, covering them and providing greater security and stability.
Full-Length Zipper: temperature regulation is ensured by an ultra-lightweight self-locking full-length zip (cam lock).
