DESCRIPTION

The TRAIL Winter Softshell jacket represents a quantum leap from the riders' favorite Spring/Fall Hoodie jacket. With increased levels of warmth and insulation, this new jacket sets a new standard for protection during winter all-mountain rides.

Warmth, protection and breathability. Why settle for two features when you can have them all? Assos designed the triple-layer softshell fabric precisely to give you all the features. To make the garment highly breathable, waterproof, insulating, and 100% windproof, it equipped the main fabric with a taped polyurethane membrane to completely shield you from icy winter wind, rain, and snow. It then combined this winter-proof barrier with anatomical panels made with RX EVO+, which were added to the upper arms, side panels, back, and helmet-compatible hood to manage sweat and maintain high levels of breathability.

FEATURES

FEATURED FABRICS
For the front, lower arms, upper back, and neck, the patented NEOS MEDIUM softshell fabric was used, which features water repellency, windproof properties, and high breathability. On the other hand, for the upper arms, hood and lumbar area, we opted for RX EVO+, a warp-knitted combed fabric with asymmetrical stretch, subjected to an environmentally friendly water-repellent treatment, which provides exceptional comfort combined with sweat-proof properties and high levels of thermal insulation. DyneRope, a high-density orthogonal fabric with a tear-proof weave, reinforces the elbows to protect exposed areas from abrasion.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT
Taking advantage of the women's-specific trailFit cut, the jacket is sleek and suited for the position taken on the bike for dirt trails, but can also be worn at other times without looking out of place. The two-slider zipper allows you to open the jacket like a cape when making big efforts uphill or take advantage of classic ventilation by opening it from the top. Designed to be worn under a helmet and featuring the proprietary klikThru system with special slots to pass helmet straps through, the hood integrates smoothly with the helmet ensuring an unobstructed view and frictionless comfort.

ENGINEERING
cargoZip: Side zipper to access the contents of the back pockets.

Double-Slider Zipper: two-slider zipper for adjustment for different weather conditions and to allow the jacket to be opened from the bottom to improve breathability.

Extended Rear Panel: the extended rear panel, longer than the front panel, protects the lower back from splash and mud from the wheels.
