The new Ergopower Super Record 12x2 Speed Disc Brake mechanical controls, thanks to Vari-Cushion technology, offer an ergonomic, comfortable and secure support and grip, indispensable features for those who are in the saddle several hours.
The inside of the controls are a concentrate of technology and experience starting with the "one lever-one action" function that assigns each lever a single function to avoid making shifting errors in moments of fatigue or in the most excited moments to then continue with the multiple shifting option that, thanks to the Ultra-Shift mechanism, allows you to change up to 3 sprockets at a time when climbing and up to 5 when descending. This function makes it possible to maintain the pedaling rhythm even during sudden changes in gradient or pace with a speed and fluidity of action that is as useful as it is surprising.
Also very useful features are the lever adjustability, which, thanks to the Reach Adjustment, allows the brake lever to be brought closer to the low grip to facilitate those with small hands, and the AMS Adjustment, which allows the user to select two different settings of braking power modulation. "Short" for a direct bite or "Long" to allow a little more modulation.
Super Record Disc Brake levers are designed with a double curvature to improve grip and lightened with two slots in addition to the one dedicated to Reach adjustment.

As with the mechanical units, the action on the levers feels natural and intuitive. The action on the levers mimics and accompanies the movement of the chain on the sprockets. For example, lever 2 on the right Ergopower, operated from right to left, moves the rear derailleur and moves the chain up one sprocket from right to left, copying its movement exactly.
