In addition to the connecting rod, the new Super Record rear derailleur also features a unidirectional carbon fibre front derailleur to further reduce the weight of the component and to give it an aesthetic uniformity that ennobles the incredible performance of the component that is the symbol of Campagnolo tradition.
The new Super Record 12x2 rear derailleur can be defined as a sculpture with an innovative shape that uses 3D Embrace technology to better envelop the smallest sprockets, creating a dual effect: it allows the chain to maintain optimal traction at all times, thus increasing the speed, power and precision of shifting, and it ensures that the rear derailleur always stays at an optimal distance from the sprockets. The rear derailleur has also been optimised to interface with sprockets from 11 to 32 teeth, making it possible to maintain a single version for all the sprocket sets offered. The upper body of the Super Record has been made of carbon-fibre reinforced technopolymer, contributing to the component's strength and lightness, while the titanium hardware, in addition to saving weight, harmonises even more with the component's technical-aesthetic appearance.
Optimised return spring: In the event of road bumps, the spring present between the upper body and the articulation absorbs vibrations, always guaranteeing optimal support of the chain on the sprockets.
12-tooth caster wheels: Perfect for operation with wide-range cassettes. Ensures constant chain tensioning action.
Shifting start position adjustment: Allows optimal adaptation to each sprocket set (11-29 and 11-32).
