DESCRIPTION

Ksyrium has always been the best technology for aluminium wheels. Following the footsteps of Ksyrium Elite and Ksyrium Pro, the brand new Ksyrium SL is up to previous versions. If you are looking for a single set of aluminum wheels for weekend races and training sessions, wherever the road takes you, this is the best choice.
This new wheel is superlight (120 g lighter than the previous Ksyrium Elite UST Disc) and durable, as always thanks to the patented ISM4D technology. This production process removes all excess material between each hole of the rays, keeping the rim wall sufficiently thick at the points where the tension and stress of the rays is higher.
Double thickness rays contribute to weight reduction, making the wheel more responsive. These rays also have a patented elliptical shape that allows additional savings of 5 watts for greater efficiency.
The rigidity is optimized thanks to Fore technology. The upper deck is not perforated, so it remains robust and rigid and does not require the use of flap (other 30 g spared per wheel). The new shape of the rim throat makes it easier than ever to mount and remove tires and our UST Tubeless technology improves rolling resistance and sealing while reducing the risk of puncture. The new Infinity hub optimizes rigidity and optimum power transmission with a highly controlled radius voltage, while the Instant Drive 360 freewheel combined with automatic bearing preload regulation (QRM Auto) offers a quick coupling and resistance. Specially designed for disc brakes, wheels are compatible with front axle 12x100 and rear 12x142 and can be converted to the quick release system thanks to the adapters provided. Just for Center Lock disc rotors. Available for cassettes Shimano and Sram XD-Road and can be adapted to the system Campagnolo with an optional transmission body.

FEATURES

Superlight and resistance for everyday performance
The ISM4D circle weighs only 400 g, the patented light aerodynamic rays and the 22 mm deep and 19 mm wide rims maintain low inertia and high control. The top solid bridge of the circle eliminates the need for flap for a saving of 60 grams.

Side rigidity and verticality for a more dynamic guide
Fore technology preserves the solidity of the upper bridge of the circle to make it more rigid. New Infinity hubs: rigid pin, durable bearings and new hub design ensure wheel stability. Freewheel technology ID360 for better power transfer.

Improved UST Road technology offers more speed, comfort and control in a tubeless system easy to use
The absence of air chamber reduces friction, for improved efficiency and sealing and a reduced risk of puncture. The new shape of the rim throat facilitates the assembly and replacement of tyres. Fore drilling technology does not require the use of flap.

ISM 4D light circle technology
ISM 4D (Inter Spoke Milling 4 Dimensions), exclusive concept patented by Mavic. ISM 4D greatly reduces weight and inertia without compromising durability. Faster accelerations, better driveability and greater resistance: the right mix to get the best from every type of output. The smooth profile also helps reduce aerodynamic resistance

Aluminium Alloy Maxtal
Lightweight and durable Exclusive Mavic, this specific aluminum alloy offers greater resistance to equal weight than conventional alloy 6106.

Tubeless technology without tap
Harder and more robust. Instead of being drilled, the lower bridge of the circle is pushed inside, then threaded, to allow the nests of the radius to be screwed directly, leaving intact the upper bridge.

Tubeless technology UST
Traction and control Universal Standard for Tubeless. Tubeless system ready to use. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort by reducing inertia and puncture.

Freewheel technology Instant Drive 360
The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system, superlight and fast, is set with an angle of only 9°. A large contactless rubber seal ensures a reduced friction, while a wide range of terminals makes it extremely versatile.

QRM bearing preload technology Car
These cartridge bearings obviously provide a double grip with internal C3. The preload is automatically adjusted to ensure a perfect and constant rotation over time.

SUP welding technology
Robust joints and more uniform Soudé Usiné Process. After being bent, the circle is welded to arc. Welding is then processed to obtain a smooth finish.
