DESCRIPTION

The experience of Pirelli and the properties of SmartNETTM Silica meet the comfort of the tubeless-ready and the resistance of Armour TechTM technology to create a unique DNA cover, perfect for long routes and more varied terrain:
- the Armour TechTM construction combines a layer of high-density Nylon ranging from heel to heel with an additional textile layer and particles of aramid fiber dispersed in the tread mix, creating a rubber with a level of protection never achieved before. Ideal to deal with any road condition;
- tread mix with SmartNETTM Silica guarantees safety and reliability even on the most difficult roads and in all weather conditions;
- its measurements make it a rubber from the Granfondo to long adventures, all in configuration both tubeless and with air chamber.

FEATURES

BAPTIZED
Thanks to the innovative SmartNETTM Silica mix and ICS and FDG technologies, Cinturato guarantees a never proven cycling experience. The elongated conformation nanoparticles generate a stable network within the mix, thus increasing the natural chemical affinity with silica water. In this way the typical compromise of traditional compounds is exceeded, while maintaining excellent performance in rolling resistance, durability and puncture resistance.

MESCA
A fiber aramide belt placed under the tread to protect the structure from elements that can generate a drilling. Aramide is a fiber with high resistance to cutting and abrasion: its lightness and flexibility ensure low rolling resistance and overall high performance of the tyre.

STRUCTURE
A high-density Nylon belt, extended from one heel to another for the full width of the carcass and above all below the tread band and the drilling protection layer: protects from cuts in all parts the tire and provides support in the guide to low inflation pressures. Nylon is a fiber with high cutting and abrasion resistance and high tensile strength. Its lightness and high density also contribute to making the cover waterproof in the air when used in combination with a sealing liquid, in tubeless-ready configuration.

TALLONE TLR
A specific design of the heel profile made to maximize compatibility and hold on tubeless-ready rims, as well as a specific material and construction that allow easy assembly with air chamber, without compromising the sealing and safety if used in tubeless configuration with sealing liquid.

BREAKER
Installed on a 60 tpi carcass, the tread is developed with technologies Pirelli Functional Groove Design and Ideal Contour Shaping: the fabric carcass is designed to ensure an optimal ground footprint, while the different curvature radius between tread and hips guarantees a controlled deformation of the tire at different speeds and bend angles.
