The Ekar discs are in robust stainless steel hardened by 1,85 mm thick, which remain unaltered and last long even in case of heavy and sustained braking.
With the same clamp and the same pads, this 160 mm disc produces a higher stop power thanks to the greater heat dissipation on the wider surface.
