The Leatt Body Protector 5.5 hard-shell waistcoat offers maximum protection for chest, back, elbows, shoulders and hips. Tested and CE certified, it scored a total of 25 points on the Leatt protection rating system.
The articulated 3D multi-layered and plate design is comfortable and ventilated, with no less than 53 ventilation slots.
The waistcoat integrates quality hard-coated zones with the soft 3D AirFit impact-absorbing foam, which hardens immediately on impact to absorb energy and thus protect the body. The hard-shell zones are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for added protection from impact or debris.
The knitted base layer and the new odour-resistant MoistureCool and AirMesh fabrics are durable and ultra-ventilated.
The waistcoat adapts perfectly to the body thanks to the height-adjustable kidney belt and adjustable hip panels.
The waistcoat can thus be worn comfortably under the jersey, as well as being perfectly compatible with neck braces.
