The Leatt Chest Protector 4.5 is tested and CE certified for impact protection of the chest, back and hips.
The articulated multi-plate design and 3D layers ensure an optimal fit. Comfort is also ensured by the 3DF AirFit impact and ventilated foam inserts. In the event of a fall, the foam stiffens to absorb maximum impact energy.
The hard-coated zones, on the other hand, are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for added protection from impact or debris.
The Chest Protector 4.5 scored a total of 12 points on the Leatt protection system.
Chest Protector 4.5 is also compatible with neck braces and can be worn above or below the jersey with comfort. This protector complies with the new rules introduced in 2018 by the FIM.
