For the new C2 generation of slightly insulating ¾ UMA Knickers, Assos offers new fabrics and features: the hipClick structure stands out, giving the tights a stable fit without the discomfort caused by the presence of braces.
The leg straps have a new design that is lighter and more breathable. While for the UMA GT C2 pad Assos has decided to move the padding to support more upright and less aggressive pedalling positions, ideal for comfort over long distances.
hipClick: waistband structure that combines an elastic band with a compressive mesh fabric covering a large portion of the abdomen, with the function of stabilising the shorts and keeping the pad in place, without the discomfort of a single elastic band on the waistband.
Ultralight LegGrippers: the leg grippers, with skin-friendly elastomer, offer a grippy and secure hold without being too tight.
Shock-Absorb Damping Mono 9: layers of compression foam in a 9 mm structure created for endurance riding. The thermoformed structure reduces wrinkles and irritation.
goldenGate: seams that secure the pad at the front and back, allowing the pad to gently follow the movements of your body.
3D Waffle: a patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
