Made to ensure absolute comfort while riding on technical paths, the Cularis benefits from ventilation development techniques normally used on road helmets, to keep you fresh while choosing increasingly challenging lines on the path.
Optimized for comfort and ventilation, the helmet is our lightest trail helmet so far, able to offer the right light protection for fast downcountry and XC.
We have performed a wide CFD modeling (computational fluid dynamics) and air flow tests across and around the helmet to ensure that you can stay fresh whenever you are on the path, regardless of driving speed or soil technicality.
When it comes to safety, the Cularis does not compromise. It shares the same design language of its brothers, Kortal and Otocon, offering extended protection areas and a durable structure. This means that you can ride safely, knowing that the Cularis will protect you from all kinds of obstacles of the path.
Other features are the POC patented tear visor, which is detached from the helmet in case of an accident, directing the impact forces away from the head. The visor is adjustable so you can easily find the best location to protect your eyes from the sun, rain and mud splashes.
Aramide bridges between the helmet lining and the cap improve structural stability and penetration protection, while the Mips Air Node improves protection from rotational impacts.
An eye box in the front ventilation doors allows you to safely store sunglasses during the race, while the Fidlock® buckle facilitates the fixing of the helmet with one hand.
