iC Cockpit integrated
Over the years, SYNCROS has continued to succeed in an unexplored territory, always pursuing the magical blend of strength, lightness and ergonomics. The integrated cockpit SYNCROS confuses the lines between components and frame creating a perfect functional unit. The appearance of a complete system rather than a collection of parts. The result is lighter, rigid, aerodynamic and redefines the aesthetics of classic bikes.
SL Carbon sheet
The SYNCROS SL superlight line employs the same carbon fiber and construction techniques to produce components that on average are 10% lighter while maintaining equal performance and resistance characteristics. These racing components represent the absolute top of the range and are specifically designed for SCOTT RC bikes.
Carbon with UD plot
The foundation of SYNCROS carbon components is fibers. In SYNCROS they mostly use unidirectional carbon fibers. These show breaking load and elastic module greater than the various woven carbon plots (the breaking load is the amount of force needed to cause fiber breakage, while the elastic module is a measure of carbon fiber stiffness). They are therefore prepared to obtain the best from them (long the length of their fiber) and obtain rigidity (or flexibility) where necessary. The internal charts of the sheet are different depending on how they are placed (0 °, +- 45 °, 90 °), and this gives us the possibility to create light carbon products that allow us to be one of the leaders of innovation in this field. The woven 3k models (i.e. 3000 filaments per beam) are used only in very specific areas, for example around holes, where delamination could be critical.
