Assos has redesigned the pre-shaped panels to reduce the number of seams and save a few grams of weight, without sacrificing the lightweight compression and long-distance comfort that are authentic MILLE trademarks. The bib tights have been revised by adding race-inspired X-Frame suspenders that help stabilize the pad and main panels while pedaling and cornering.
Also added to the new model is the MILLE GT C2 pad, 2 mm more of soft comfort for those who want to keep their performance stable over long distances or train for the upcoming season.
FEATURED FABRICS
RX EVO provides medium-weight thermal insulation for the mild and variable weather of spring and fall. The gauzed inner side of the fabric feels soft against the skin. Breathability and ECO water repellency allow sweat to be managed by transporting it from the inside to the outside. The black color of the fabrics remains intense even at the stretch points at knee height.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
The classic regularFit cut offers total comfort over long distances and in harsh weather. The raw cut at the waist and soft elastic enhance comfort by preventing a sense of constriction near the waist and calves.
ENGINEERING
zeroPressure waist: a new waist structure developed with a soft, highly elastic material to improve comfort and keep the shorts snug at the waist without pressure or irritation.
X-frame: an A-frame suspender system inspired by the Equipe RSR summer model. It prevents the tights from slipping on the lower back by stabilizing the pad and main panel.
Ultralight LegGrippers: the elastic leg grippers, with leather elastomer, that provide a grippy, secure fit without over-tightening.
Shock-Absorb Damping Mono: layers of compression foam encased in an 11 mm structure created for endurance riding. The thermoformed structure reduces creasing and irritation.
goldenGate: seams that secure the pad at the front and back, allowing the pad to gently follow your body's movements.
3D Waffle: a patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
