The Equipe RS Aero jersey is the short-sleeved jersey focused on speed and racing comfort.
It wasn't easy to make improvements to the famous Equipe RS jersey, but Assos did it by focusing on the most minute details, the ones that can make the difference when every second counts. And that's exactly what the new Aero jersey does, thanks to the combination of meticulously crafted design and a highly detailed finish, the stars of the new generation of ASSOS aerodynamic garments: a new phase called aeroFit.
First of all, Assos employed its proven miniCheck Tex circular knit fabric, a highly stretchy three-dimensional knit fabric developed with breathability and sweat transfer specifically in mind. At the back, however, he applied his Stabilizer fabric, which secures the jersey thanks to its vertical structure with limited elasticity. The choice of materials for the new sleeves was also based on the aggressive stance adopted by sprinters. The choice could only fall on Push Pull fine knit fabric, which offers not only fast drying and two-way stretch, but also high UV protection (UPF 50+).
In addition to the more precise aeroFit design, there are further details that contribute to one goal: greater speed and comfort. Let's start at the front, with the ultralight taped self-locking zip (cam lock), the heat-taped waistband and the combination of both raw cut and taped sleeves for a comfortable fit. At the back, Assos has employed our established three-way pockets to keep your belongings safe, along with a lighter elastic hem for added weight reduction.
AeroFit: the sleeker cut focused on speed, even tighter and with a higher level of compression than racingFit. It gives the impression of restricting movement when not in the saddle, but turns into a second skin during the ride.
MiniCheck Tex: three-dimensional open mesh fabric with exceptional breathability, super light and quick-drying. UPF 25 despite imperceptible weight, and with integrated OdorControl system for durability and hygiene.
Push Pull: the pockets and sleeves are made from the Push Pull warp knit fabric developed by ASSOS, which offers high UV protection (UPF 50+). Highly breathable, this fine knit fabric offers two-way stretch, fast drying and extreme comfort.
Stabiliser: light as a feather, but made of a durable material, perfect for forming a breathable back panel on the jersey. It maintains stability and alignment, as well as offering UPF 30 protection, despite having minimal weight and volume.
Tripartite pockets: the proprietary design with three pockets with fabric flaps, useful for storing objects, excellently positioned, easy to access and with great stability and security. The right pocket has an opening for earphones, and is equipped with micro-perforated reflective taped details to allow visibility.
Taped zip: temperature regulation is ensured by an ultralight, self-locking taped integral zip (cam lock). A micro-injected tab in the collar stabilises the fabric so you can open and close the zip using just one hand.
Raw cut and taped sleeves: they wrap anatomically around the front, while the back is taped, all to achieve the best balance between comfort and stability.
Taped waistband: Taped edges for a more elegant and aerodynamic fit.
Ultralight back hem: a wide, secure elastic hem that guarantees a chafing-free fit during running. Lighter and more breathable than the previous generation.
